What I see is an old building with a car in front of it. What i notice first is that there is not many people there. The physicalc setting is a big building with many stores in it. It also looks like the buildings are made out of bricks. I think the image was made a long time ago because it is in black and whit and the buildings have fancy designs. Whats missing from the image is all the people, because the picture has nobody in it and it looks like it is out of buisness. If sombody made this today it would be different because there would prabaly be more color and more people. I wonder when exactly this was taken and what the stores are in the picture. Another thing i wounder is why there is no peope at the stores.

Sign above moving picture theater, Waco, Texas
Sign above moving picture theater, Waco, Texas
What i see is a sign to a movie theater. What i notice fist is that the say says only colored people are allowed. the other detail i see is that there is a Coke bottle on top of the sign. I think the image was made around the mid 1900s, becuse that is about the time there was discrimination against colord people. If the picture was taken today, it would be different because it wouldnt say colored theater. I can learn how hard it mustve been and how different to live at this time. I wonder why everybody was so disrespectful and what people thought at the time. I also wonder where this picture was taken.

Part 3a
The interviews I read about were a little different. What they talked about how hard it was to get a job during this time and they were not getting paid a lot. This part of time was very hard to live in. People were out of jobs and couldnt afford anything. In this era there was the lowest amount of jobs of all time and if people did have jobs, they were not getting paid the right amount. Everyone was not treated fairly and were not getting paid the right amount, but as long as they got money to live off, they were happy. For example, Mr. Garavelli worked as a stone cutter and many people were dieing because of silica.
